First time hatching with an incubator help

We have two that hatched and 5 pipped today so excited I measured my temp under the element to just wanted to make sure them eggs weren't to hit the eggs that are pipped are all over the incubator the two that hatched are so cute!! I so want to touch them lol I know hands off till they all hatch but it's so tempting!! So what now how long do I give all the other eggs? When do I remove the chicks? When do they need food and water!?

You should wait 24 hours before worrying about the other eggs not hatching. Chicks should be removed when completely dry. They can be fed and watered right away, but they can wait up to three days before doing it. A mother would probably wait one day, perhaps two before standing up to feed them.

It depends on who you ask. My philosophy is do what's comfortable for you. Personally I remove my chicks as they hatch and start moving around my incubator. I get them in the brooder under the light where they can get their electrolyte enhanced water and food. As long as you have your humidity up 70-75% you shouldn't have any problem removing them. Many people won't open the incubator till the last chick is hatched or 48 hours going on the theory that chicks are ok w/out food and water for 3 days. Some people remove chicks as they dry and fluff up.

Congrats on the hatchers!

Ok i set my hygrometer on top of the eggs and the humidity was at 65% now the chicks nocked it down on top of the wire over the water and now the humidity says 80% and climbing what do I do? Should I open it or leave it alone? It looks like it's staying right around 80% but not sure it's just got there about 5 mins ago help lol

Opening it for a second shouldn't hurt if you just want to readjust something inside of it. An instant humidity change or temperature change may be dangerous, however.
