So is 80% not dangerous to them? Or is it fine it went up after they hatched
mine often get up to 80% during hatch, due to the moisture from the eggs. It will even out and naturally decrease. They should be fine.
Yay!! Congrats!Woke up to 5 chicks this morning yeah!! More have pipped
I would scoop them out to the brooder. That will let out the extra humidity. If you pull the hatched eggs out, it will lessen the hatching stink. The humidity and egg goo does make it smell. Just makes sure you get the humidity built back up quickly after to keep the pippers from drying out.Now there's condensation on the windows but I have a lot of chicks I. There we are going to remove them today!! Several more are hatching but it stinks so bad is that normal?? Makes me want to clean it and put the other eggs in there after lol
I use an LG 9200, but have the fan kit installed and I get up to over 80% w/o condensation. If you have a still air, then I would expect to see condensation at an earlier percentage, though 70% still sounds low to see condensation at.This is what my Bator windows look like the humidity says 70%
