First time hatching!

Congrats and the fun is just beginning. I remember watching my hen take care of her chicks as a marvelous piece of learning and delight. My favorite was watching stick just their heads out from her feathers while catching a ride on her back.

I have a question I need help with. I want to hatch out some purebred chicks of a couple heritage breeds. One rooster has gotten in with hens of a different breed. Once I get those hens out of there and in with a rooster of her breed, how long do I I have to wait until I can be sure the eggs she is sitting on ir I incubate were fertilized by him and not the other wrong breed guy? I cannot find the answer anywhere so I am hoping for some help here. Anyone know?
