First time hatching

Mamma hen takes breaks to eat and stretch her legs. I would think it should be ok. How long was it out for?

My power went out and my incubator temperature drop to 70 degrees do you think they will be ok

How long was it low? What day are they on?

Remember broody hens get off the eggs daily, and it takes longer for the internal temp to drop. So if it wasn't very long, they should be fine..

Day 7 and about an hour maybe less

I think you should be ok. The instructions on mine say not to leave the lid off while candling eggs for more than 30 minutes so if you kept the lid on while the power was out, i think you are safe.

It can be very scary! But yes, they should be fine.

Can you refrigerate eggs before incubating

Nope, its best to keep them between 45 and 55 degrees from what ive read. The basement is a good spot. I used a spare bedroom with the vents closed. It kept them between 50 and 55 till i was ready. Also put them in tge bater

Do you think they will survive I put mine in the incubator they were in the frigid over night
