first time incubating, first set of eggs went in about an hour ago

we are at day 5 and temp is still stable. backyard farm has anymore of your babies hatched yet?

please post pics of the eggs and babies when they hatch or in the hatching process. i love to see them

I just set my first batch this morning, I have 41 eggs in there. Wish me luck this is the first time I have tried to incubate.

All seems to be going well sofar with my bator. Had a temp spike this morning when I got up but I think it will be okay. Least I hope it will. Steady now. I am however gonna run to town to pick up another thermometer to triple check the ones that I have. Got to find out if it was a true spike or not...... Hopefully not !

I am forunate my eggs are at work. Keeps me from checking them 24/7!!!!!!!

i have two different thermometers in there to make sure and they are both real close to the same

I had two in there also. one was off this morning,so now I need another so I can see which one was off.

Well I just have 7 chicks hatch with the eggs I thought were all bad so Im doing a dance..Now I have to wait a few weeks to see how the other eggs do..
