First time incubator hatch

I’ve never handled a chicken but was given 11 Silkie eggs last year. They hatched on the 28th June. After googling for advice I left the hatched ones for between 12 and 24 hours (until they were fluffy and dry) then they went in the brooder. Hope this helps. Good luck, I’m excited for you :wee

6 remaning eggs candled and back into a clean incubator, 1 didn't make it, so 3 in the brooder,pictured is what we hope is a Lola, came from Brahma but no feathered feet. crossing our fingers
