First time need help

Amen! I wasn't trying to disagree either. I totally agree with the advice you gave & I think it's best to give clear, direct answers like you did.
I had just answered "quickly", in hopes the post would be noticed & others would join in & give their advice / help also. All teamwork.

:highfive:

Apologies to @lilmidtown for getting side tracked.

Hope you'll update us as things progress. :fl

Before they hatch do the still have liquid inside like stuff is floating also no blood lines

If you still see fluid, but no blood vessels, I would guess they have quit.
By now, you shouldn't see much of anything but darkness, and the air cell. If not all dark, then you should at least see some blood vessels. :(

it has blood vessels its just i see the outline of the chick but seems like a lot of empty space in between i went out and bought anincubator with and egg turner and fan today instead of using my homemade one im hoping for better results i have 4 or 5 eggs with movement should i put them in the new incubator ??

What day are they on now? Maybe try setting up the new one and see how well it holds temp, etc, before moving the eggs. (or put some fresh eggs in the new one)

also i get about 1 egg per day i have 1 rooster and 1 hen can i add them in as she lays or wait for 5 days and put 5 in , also does it matter if the rooster mates with his own offspring when the chicks get bigger??
