First time raising chicks and ducks!

My name is Erica, I live in southern Michigan. We got our first chickens and ducklings this year and we are so excited! I have a lot of animal experience but this is my first adventure with birds. Previously a wildlife rehabber (specialized in squirrels, opossums, and raccoons...all the things you don't want around your chickens haha) I went to school to be a vet tech but never took final exams. I'm a stay at home mom/animal caretaker now instead we currently have in our brooders 4 buff Orpington, 6 light brahma, 4 black australorps, 1 silver laced polish and 3 cayuga ducklings, 1 welsh harlequin.

We have horses, dogs, and cats as well.

Looking forward to learning more and hopefully making some forum friends here!
