First Time /Shipped Eggs/NR 360

I took the 2 EE's and 1 BO that hatched yesterday afternoon out of the incubator this morn and put them in the travel box with another heat pack , they were running around and rolling and pecking at the one BO egg that was zipping . A little while later that zipping BO finally pushed out of the shell all the way , that one was working at it since late last night , its exhausted . Once this last one in the incubator dries off a bit I'll take these 4 out to my daughters . There are 2 BO eggs still in the incubator , but I see no pips , no rocking . I think they might be goners but I'll wait a bit more on them . So as of now we got 6 EE's and 3 Bo's .
You could candle them and see if they’re moving.

Good luck! I hope they’re just late. A couple of mine hatched on day 22.

Well , those last 2 eggs were quitters , both gone . So I've got that one Orpinton in the incubator still , seems like that one is the runt of all that hatched but its starting to walk and bounce around . I'll give it another hour and then head out to my daughters with the 4 of them .
So we ended up with 9 out of the 22 eggs(6 EE's & 3 BO's) we started with . It would have been nice to get a few more hatched but it was a great experience and well worth it IMO . We learned so much we are already talking about another batch in the future , especially now having some first hand experience and knowing what to look for .

That’s still a good outcome though, some people get no hatches or a lone single chick from shipped eggs. Especially first timers. So, good job! It was fun to follow along, thanks for sharing!
