First time treating Bumblefoot plan

To me it looks like Footpad Dermatitis, which can be treated similar to Bumblefoot, but if you have a good avian vet that is knowledgeable about poultry that would be a good idea.

I hadn’t heard of this affliction but it actually makes some sense. There favorites hang out to get out of the heat is under some bushes that stays damp and even if I clean it Multiple times a day it still has feces most of the time, It seems like this would be a likely breeding ground for FPD.

the other girls are starting to have similar foot lesions and again it doesn’t really match Bumblefoot.

I’m cautiously optimistic, it seemed like Mac was putting a bit more weight on the “bad” foot this morning. The separation is rough, as soon as she is a bit more mobile I will try again to see if she can be with the others. They just zeroed in last time pecking her bandaged feet and she couldn’t get away.

Stay positive! It will be ok, just focus on clean and dry and it will heal just fine!

Yes! Make the video! I would make a video of my bird but I don't have a YouTube account and I don't really want one so I can't post videos here.
Ok! Sorry I didn't notice this sooner, but I'll make a video for you today.

Here's that bandaging video! Sorry it's vertical, my wife was holding it between her knees, so a horizontal one wasn't possible. 😅

Very impressive. Is that a full size chicken I don’t see regular adhesive bandages covering my chickens foot enough but it maybe better Han the bulky gauze and vet rap I have now

That is a coturnix quail! In the video description on the youtube page there are instructions for larger birds, you can use an uncut bandage and/or extend the length by sticking tabs cut off of other plasters to the ends. The reson I greatly prefer these to gauze is because the plasters stay on so well!
