first time worming?

I didnt even know that we were supposed to worm our chickens. Thanks to BYC i found out i should worm them. So i went to the local feed store and one person said use D.E. and the other said WAZINE 17 in the water??
#1 question how much do iput of the wazine17 for 2 gallons of water? [ the bottle gives directions for flocks of 100....I only have 3 chickens].
#2-- I did not buy the D.E. because it didnt say it was for worms. Should i use it too?
I need to add... my chickens do NOT appear to have worms, i just thought if it is something i need to do then i should do it.
any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, MO

use one oz per gallon of water and let them drink on this all day..DE is useless as a wormer

Thank you so much for your speedy reply. Do i need the DE for other things? is it a neccessary /good thing to give them? and while they are being wormed, are the eggs edible? how often do i put the Wazine in the water?

How much is an ounce in liquid? Shd i jut use the cap as a measurer?

Use a measuring cup. Should have ounces on it.
