First timer - starting my first batch Sept 15

Hey! I am In Marysville! Still no pip! I see Threetreesfarm has pipped! When it rains it pours! How exciting!

So close! I'm in Rocklin. You will get pips! As hard as it is, be patient. With my ducks, I had one hatch early and then for 2 days....nothing. Then the other two hatched at the VERY END of day 21.

well I'm kind of bummed! no other eggs have pipped today. just the one little blue wyandotte so far.

Everything will get a few more days, but this is kind of what happened with our last hatch and we only had 2 survivors from that batch.

for action tonight and having a few more chicks running around the incubator in the morning!

#18, the one with the wonky sideways air cell has hatched...it looks like she is a white or splash. So far, I have a black, a self-blue, and a white...I think.

She is the one I left in a carton to keep the air cell in the right spot.

I have several pips tonight, they are chirping then quiet, then start chirping again. I am hoping for some babies tomorrow morning, my grandsons are spending the night, they came and checked out the chirping before they went to sleep. I will update over the weekend, day 21 is Sat.

I HEAR NOTHING! No eggs moving, no pips, no peeps! We are due Saturday also but you all are getting pips and peeps! Oh...here I go again... Stressing from comparing! My eggs developed nicely and seemed on target. I have to go hover again. Will update when ANYTHING happens! As of yet.... I have no bragging rights:/

I've got chirping and wiggling, no chicks yet.

I am very glad I joined this group, it is way easier watching everyone else deal with the same issues. Plus there are cute chick photos and videos to keep us waiters entertained.

I got my first mini-pip this morning as well. Also had one of my eggs wiggle so much it's turned about 90 degrees :p

You can see the pip on the light colored egg on the left

I love your video. That Brinesea incubator really lets you see a lot of the action. I don't think I could ever just hatch out 6 chicks or just 6 of anything. Although I did try with my bantam mix I got at the feed store last year, unfortunately they all were roosters.

Anyone else feel the urge to 'help'? Lock-down had to be for us who want to help, it is so hard to wait. Waiting is not my virtue.

The wait is KILLING me. I had one pip yesterday morning and chickie has enlarged the hole a bit but no zipping as of this morning. As far as the others, several of them pipped overnight but no signs of zipping yet... wonder why they're going so slow?

Still streaming live... you might be able to hear my roosters outside or the insanity of a morning at our house in the background.
