First week in the coop and run. Should I leave food and water in their coop over night?

I'm not out there when the lights go on at 4AM during the winter, or at dawn ever, so food and water are available all the time. Mice can be an issues, but nothing larger can get in or live there.

I am a super early riser so I’ve decided no food in there at night. I’ve also been looking into an automatic door too.
