Fish oil as substitute for Prenisone for Wry Neck treatment

Hi,I

I am considering getting Prednisone for my hen with Wry Neck but would prefer to use fish oil and not kill her immune system. I read that some people use fish oil instead and wondered if anyone was familiar with this and what dose? My hen is 10 months old and 3 pounds. Does anyone have experience with this or know someone who has treated Wry Neck with fish oil or prednisone? Right now I only use two pills of fish oil a day and I am wondering if that is enough. It has only been about four days since I discovered the fish oil treatment to try. If you treated your bird with fish oil, and vitamin e with selenium, how long did it take for your bird to recover?

Yes I read it, thanks. I am now using 1000 IU twice a day. I see some strength daily in her feet
