Nitrates are way high. It's recommended they never go above 20-30 ppm. Betta will start suffer above 20. Your water is also alkaline. Most fish need somewhere around 7, but most can adapt as long as changes are made slowly. So as long as ph reading are the same out of the tap as they are in your tank fish can take larger water changes.

Mine comes out of the tap at 6 for ph and buffers up to 8 in my tanks, so I gotta be careful with my water changes on my tropical fish. I do them more often at less amounts.

You water is at the top range for hardness as far as what betta can tolerate.

Didnt see this sorry. Lost the betta others are dying. They are all guppies now. I removed most of the snails in there, did a small water change, used prime Still dying. Why? I took half the fish out of there a few weeks ago. What changed ? All my other tanks on the same schedule are fine.

Sorry it took so long to reply! Not quite, I was actually just waiting for an online conference to start. Then I had homework, yesterday I had an exam.. and so on. Here are the pictures:

You can probably see the ich on the first one (this photo was taken several days ago, it's become worse since then), the second had cloudy eye (which actually went away!) and the third has fin rot going. I actually think the fish in the last picture died already, but I'm not sure. Well, the cloudy eye is gone, the fin rot is still progressing in (some, not all) fish, and the ich is becoming worse. After reading more reviews, I've decided that the Melafix + Pimafix are herbal preventatives that don't do much to actually treat an already established bacterial or fungal infection.

So, I did some large water changes and restarted treatment with Ich-x. I have not lost any fish in the past 12 hours, which at this point in my mind is good news!

I finally put the plants in the tanks tonight

I hope the iffy looking ones come back!!

I had to order new plants because I killed the last ones cause I never unpacked them for like 3-4 months lol

Sure you guys might remember that.

Well..... I almost did the same thing to these ones too...

They arrived like a month ago and I still hadn’t unpacked them until tonight....

Oh well, better than 3 or 4 months lol

And they were well packed so still super moist/wet and alive thankfully. So I hope they can make a full recovery.

Idk if you can see very well but here they are. Also put the hoods on finally.

I just did a big like 50% water change on Draco’s tank and took the almond leaf I had in there out so his is brighter/clearer but honestly I think I kind of like the darker/brown/tannish more natural color of the empty one better so might have to add another leaf or something and darken the water haha and may have to add more plants to his tank but I figured they would take off so didn’t want to add too many. I just kinda threw the plants in the other tank to keep them alive, not much thought, so it might look kinda ugly haha

If they die wait a while and they should come back . The anubius should be on a rock or wood not planted. I super glued mine (the gel kind) but you can tie them or stick them in a crack of wood.

I had heard some of them should be attached to something but wasn’t sure if that was necessary or not and mostly just wanted to get them in the water before they died haha

But I think I’m going to boil the wood today and maybe put it in there.

Thank you!! I assumed they were meant to be planted cause they had roots some of the plants didn’t that I saw. Maybe that’s why they all look weird haha
