I thought they were all going to die at first cause they looked very questionable and they had been in the box like a month but they all appear to be coming back!!! Didn’t really do anything special. Just planted them lol but I do have this special substrate stuff for planted aquariums so maybe that’s why but I also just have a natural green thumb haha don’t know why. Vegetables too.Nice! I've never had the best luck with plants. I have a java fern that's been going for about four years now and that's about the longest-lived plant I've had.
The baby betta I named Big Chonk is so big now it actually looks like a proper betta! About 3/4 of an inch long, which doesn't sound like much but considering they start at like 2-3 millimeters long it's quite an improvement! It absolutely loves waiting for food to be dropped so it can zoom around like an upside-down vacuum and suck it all off the surface. Little Chonk, however, is not doing great and I don't know why. I've gotten it isolated in a floating 'breeding box' to see if I can get some weight on it but I'm not terribly hopeful. Such a shame.
Weirdly enough the three tiny babies that survived velvet in the other tank appear to all be doing quite well.
Awww he sounds like a real character!!!

Hope he pulls through.

And oh wow that is weird but also awesome!!!
