Five eggs in a row from my Delaware hen.

My 6 month old Deleware laid her first five eggs since Monday. So excited for my Cuckoo Maran and White Crested Black Polish to lay soon.

Those first eggs are always so eggciting to see in the nest box. I was so proud of those first eggs that Dear Wife accused me of having laid them myself. Oh well, I'm at an age where I can enjoy things in life and really don't care what others think about it. I, too, took pictures of my first eggs. Memories.

I love eggs, wish all mine were laying. Got one laying, most in molt or finished but haven't resumed.
My 17 months old Barred Rocks started to lay last year in January. I had tons of eggs last summer, now 3-4 a week. . GC
