Five Free Mixed Breed Chicks! East Texas area!

I am so sorry I didn't even notice your first post! Just scrolled right through it.. was probably distracted with thoughts. Man. That sounds like a great setting for the chickens and it sounds like some chickens would really be welcome. I'm going to talk to my fiance tonight.. maybe I can get chickens when school is out and when I can make a nice coop for them. Right now it's hard to find time and help to get it made! I'll let you know tommorow.. i really appreciate it and I understand if your son already got some chickens.

*phew*.. who would have thought that I would already be so attached!?

Man.. I've been going back and forth on what to do and I finally decided to part with them. Not because I think they are too much work.. but I think it might be better for everyone. I was encouraged by my mom and grandmother to get them, giving me the impression that they will help if I have to go on vacation (I'm getting married this July so I will need birdsitters!) or if I have to go somewhere for the weekend. I will have to wait till I'm married and feel a bit more support. So silly right? My mom says I have a million and one hobbies! Guess I'll just keep it at a million for a while.

So if you think you want them still, let me know. I'm going to be playing at a music festival today but will be home this evening. I can try and bring them to you if you're just in hainesville or you can come here, doesn't matter. When I was a girl, I had chickens and some racoons got at least two of them... I have been so protective with this bunch because of that. Do you think the chickens will be safe? Also, about Big Mamma, I don't think it matters where she goes. Her and the smallest one (who is a rooster) are pretty close but I'm sure she'll warm up to other chickens her own size. She really is a great chicken and my favorite so if they want to keep her just as a good pet, I would recommend it! Too bad I'm not crazy enough to slap a diaper on her and keep her as a house-chicken. Ha ha. Well let me know soon before I go through another "No I better keep my babies!" moment. Ha.

Ok. I will talk to my sons mom and find out when she can meet you in Mineola to pick them up. I will be back in touch soon. Thanks

If ChickenGeorge doesn't take big momma, I am interested in her. Do you ever go out toward DFW? It would be best if I could meet you somewhere.

I'm sorry all. I decided to keep them. I was only giving them up because others wanted me to and you know what!? CHicken poo on them! I love my chickens. But thank you for being so patient with me. I love this site!
