Flea Market Encounter with Chick Seller-ARGH!!

This isn't a Southern thing, this is an ignorant, lying, animal-abusing, jerk thing. I am no transplant and neither is my husband, whose family came to Ga in the 1600's. This guy gives Southerners a bad name, for sure but ignorance knows no geographical boundaries and neither does dishonesty.

Lol, this is funny, a "good ol' boy" once told US that the higher you set your feeders and waterers the taller your chickens will be.

flea markets are truely horrible... I went to one a few months back, this guy had "OEGBs" they were obviously crossed, packed together in a cage, neck feathers mostly gone from fighting, he had 2 ducks they laid down because they couldn't walk, looked as if a dog had caught them. Gamefowl, stacked next to each other in pens, they looked like they had been fighting for 7 weeks straight. 2 had a canker, and who knows what else.. the roosters were so bad they didn't even pay attention to each other which is horrible for gamefowl.. and then... his horse i have no idea, after seeing those i just walked away

to Josh: Um, what??? This is an ANCIENT thread and described an incident that occurred way, way back. Did you read the date?? How is telling what happened to me a problem for you? Excuse me, but people who abuse animals and tell whopper lies to sell them to unsuspecting customers are low class. I stand by what I said. Behind his back? He's welcome to read it here on the world wide web-hardly behind anyone's back! Geez. What on earth is going on with this forum? Someone please make sense today!

EDITED TO ADD: Josh, I see that you completely changed the post where you were scolding me up one side and down the other. It's a chicken related story. Where else should I tell it but BYC?

I wonder if it's a full moon today. Hmm. LOL.
