Floating waterfowl feed...confused!!

please pardon my ignorance but what is "water feed"?
It's just feeding the floating pellets on top of the water. For babies it's a very tiny floating pellet, that gets soft quickly. In the brooder it's a HUGE mess, so it's not for everyone. Here is a picture of my new two week olds chowing down this morning.

Thank you! I have never heard of that! I lean something new every single day!

Thanks, I didn't even think of that! I have my moments...

Anyway, I emailed and said that I could give adult ducks the food either in the feeder or float it in their water...just in case someone else has this question :)
Thank you. I just bought two bags today and I intended to give it in their feeder but the floating mention confused me also so I am glad you found the answer
