Treat Time:
Some fruit for my darlings.
They went crazy over it!

In the summertime, I will freeze cut up bits of fruit for my chickens and they love it:ya I cut up a seedless watermelon once and put it in a bowl and filled it up with water. I soon realized that it is probably easier to just do this in a rubber ice cube tray or if you find a rubber bowl somewhere then that would work also

Just wormed my Chickens.
The man at the feed store was extremely helpful.

At about 5 weeks old 5 out of 8 I had went missing without a trace. No feathers, no sign of a killing spree. I thought I might end up finding them one day.

Then there was 3. That lasted a few weeks. Then my sister in law called me when I was at a charity ride we created for someone that was close to my partner that died. We made a few thousand dollars for the farmers here but anyways she tells me theres only 2 now? I thought you said you had 3? I was like noooo I should have 3!

Then I get home and sure enough theres only 2! Which I look everywhere once again. Nothing!
I then named these 2 Hazel and Nutmeg.

Then I stupidly let them out again. I thought they would stay together if the others got lost. But then I came home to just Hazel.
