Flock/Life Journey's 2019

Geezzz thats alot! So everything is extremely muddy and Squishy?

Yup my friend posted on FB today that her mud was starting to dry out and the recent rains have rejuvenated it. When loading my feed today, we put a fresh dry skid in the truck, put a cardboard layer over it and then a plastic layer. Then after the first layer was loaded we put another layer over the top. DW and I would lift the plastic as new bags were added. Finally after everything was loaded covered it with a tarp. Then tied everything down. And as soon as that task was complete, it quit raining. ARG!

Thats always the case. You bunker everything down and make sure things are away from the wet and it stops.

Have lots of wonderful memories hanging out with Ausies all over the world. DS was super sweet on one when we where in Saudi. Things apparently went well when he hooked up with her in Perth. Don't wanna know, not going to ask;)

Lol I never did anything naughty but. I was more car racing, 4x4in, camping, fishing, I beat in pool but everytime. But I did drink alot and go clubbing in my younger years. Now im settled down like a wife.

Gorgeous girls! :love:love:love Love the colours, the crisp white and Auburn tinted brown, very pretty ladies.
Had to google king brown - lovely looking snake (I am a snake fan) but the fact that its known to have bitten people while they are sleeping, made me shudder, so you can keep that one!
I've forgotten what grass looks like - last summer was a record breaker for us here, we had a drought lasting about 6 -7 weeks, I had to choose between watering the grass or filling the ducks pool, ducks won hands down - our grass got so burned, coming into Autumn we had less than half our grass left, then with a mixture of constant rain, ducks drilling and chickens eating what few blades of grass were left, we are now down to a back garden which is complete mud :th

Yes king brown is quite a nice looking snake but highly venemous and nasty.

Sadly parts of our country have been in drought for years now, my town is surrounded by farm land and many farmers are finding it hard. Further west it’s worse, people who’ve been on the land for generations are having to sell up because they just can’t go on. We had a wet December but it’s just not enough to fix the damage.
@ChristieB is right. Some farms have been in drought for years but what's also sad is some farms can't cope with the debt they are in and having to kill some of their stock because they can't afford to feed them or they haven't had water they are so skinny and sick. A lot of farms have been committing suicide. Its really devastating.
Awwww that is so sad :(
Doesn't your government help these people? Over here our farmers are subsidized.
