oh and about the silkie eggs yeah they can be pretty small, I think it takes 2 or so of them to make one egg.

It's a good thing a lot of standard chicken breeds are as friendly as silkies such as the Australorp! I have heard RIR roos can be mean but the hens friendly. I can see why you picked those breeds :)
I know Silkies are supposed to be friendly but my little one is not friendly at all! And my Australorps can be bullyish...
My Silkie is my least friendly chicken of all eight gals. My RIR is fabulous... she is the top hen and she is so very good about her place... not a bully.. and just very cool in her position... I respect her.. she’s great!

She’s so pretty:love

I think I was so surprised the gag reflex didn't register lol. But when I realized it was kitty poo I wanted to a little bit because of the possibility of toxoplasmosis (don't know how to spell it) in it that they warn pregnant people against and also a classmate of mine's grandmother died from it. But I got him cleaned up right away so he should be ok.

Thanks for the comment!

Kids would have been expensive in my old town so we moved here where daycare is only between $8.25-$22 a day.

I've heard girls tend to be more expensive than boys but if you have just one girl versus 3 boys then it certainly wouldn't be as expensive

Day care here is almost $100 a day! How do they even justify that.

We might know in a few months time what im going to have boy or girl :D

When I usto live with my partners mum she had silkies and it was 2 eggs to our 1 egg.
She doesn't have silkies anymore because she left her partner and he kept the chickens.

Beautiful chickens Kayla and WhoDat!

Daycare in my old town was about $75 a day, not as much as yours but still expensive!

Do you mean in a few months time you will know what you want to have or what you will have - are you expecting?!

We have decided if it happens it happens. So might be happening soon. But shhhhh
