I love my guineas, they chased two large stray dogs down the lane yesterday morning.

Are they going to be housed in with yours?

My what? Chickens or ducks? No, they’ll be in their own coop. Luckily, I have plenty of coops... I just really wanted one big one, looks like that won’t happen either.

Yea, I was worried about them getting the brahmas, or attacking my dogs.

Ohhh no really? So you both agreed but then she decided to get more ohhh I would be annoyed.

1 big coop would be easier to clean and up keep on.

Flock Update:
I went out to check the girls and check for eggs and Coco was in the nesting box and she popped her head out to see me so I was talking to her and telling her I love her. As I do with my girls and put my face next to theirs and make kissing sounds then next minute pop she laid an egg! It was one of the cutest moments ive ever had with my chickens. She is just so beautiful and has really become closer to me like Hazel is.

32 chickens, 2 ducks. AND AS OF 2 MINUTES AGO MY MOTHER GOT HERSELF 8 GUINEAS. I honestly don’t want the guineas. But ya know... moms. And I’m always the one caring for them.

Good Morning Everyone,
I just woke up to some really great updates. Thank you all! Im a bit seedy today from drinking yesterday/last night. Jordan made his own Marinating for Chicken Thighs omg it was soooo good!
How is anyone today? And your beautiful flocks and families?

After looking at all the pics here mine is pretty boring. Beautiful birds from everyone. My Barred hollands are critically endangered and my Rhode Island Whites are threatened. I still have a few Dells and a pair of leghorns and some barn yard mixes.
