Hey y’all! I got 3 more ducks Friday. Fawn and white runners. 2 hens and 1 drake. They are named Frankie, Folly, and Frieda.

Aaaawwwww, cute duckies! I love ducks!
I’m trying to decide if I want to give three duck eggs to Nilky.. the BROODY Silkie... a friend of mine has ducks and can give me fertile eggs.. BUT.. to tell hubs that we have to come up with some kind of yard for ducks now ... all while in the middle of an expansion to the chicken coop ... he might have my head!

Here is where we're up too. The structure is mainly marine ply & batten screws. The ply is a thick, heavy duty one ~ thicker than originally planned because the depo screwed up but the man just said, When God wants you to have a chook pen, He wants you to have the best chook pen! lol Which is all well & dandy but we're the ones having to lift it & put it in place. The roof is planned for today & we buy paint tomorrow.

And the passionfruit vine! No Aussie chicken pen worth it's salt is complete without the requisite passionfruit vine ~ or choko~ but a vine it must have!
