Flock/Life Journey's 2019

OMG That looks like it is going to be an amazing coop! I cant wait to see the next stage!!! :love:pop:love:pop:love

What colour are you thinking?
If I have my way & can get in the colour range I want it will be a darker green roof & a teal for the walls... but it has to be super durable so I'm not sure how much that will limit me. Heading to Bunnings tomorrow after DH's doctor's appointment to choose.

Decided to take some pictures of my cochin rooster before all his foot feathers break(of course he didn't want to stand still so apologies for any blurriness), so here they are:

BBQ is getting too big! I have to hold her with two hands! :hitShe now has bright orange feathers on her chest... I didn't have my camera to do a photoshoot.
We had a storm roll in fast while i was working so when i came back out i saw all my babies in a row on the roost bar!:love

Here's some shoots of the storm moving in and the sunset... 6EEE6CA9-6FBA-4C53-961C-D5A3D03C7B52.jpeg 98B8E37E-FE24-4D7C-81A8-6203B0849109.jpeg

My hubbie gave the thumbs up and we are turning our old shed into the coop!!! We'll start saving for a new one for in the yard. Our junk doesn't need a house... the chicks do! So he's helping me write up the plans and execute it with his engineering knowledge. Here are some start photos with some cleaning up pics (gotta get rid of everything around the base)

Aaaawwwww, cute duckies! I love ducks!
I’m trying to decide if I want to give three duck eggs to Nilky.. the BROODY Silkie... a friend of mine has ducks and can give me fertile eggs.. BUT.. to tell hubs that we have to come up with some kind of yard for ducks now :th... all while in the middle of an expansion to the chicken coop ... he might have my head! :rant

Im liking your design love! I might look at something like that.
