Me too, wish I had some!

I knew it wasn’t going to work, but Fean and Fabio wanted to come see me because I was sitting by their pool, yeah they were NOT happy about having the babies in their pool. :th

Are the ducklings pekins?

I’ve ordered some Embeden goslings, a goose and a gander to arrive with the two aylesbury ducklings in April, I’ve also cancelled my peafowl eggs order and have now decided to get peachicks instead as I’d rather spend €200 on 5 peachicks rather than €100 on 5 eggs that may not even hatch.
My parents bought 3 peachicks that were 5 weeks old for $60. They were listed for $25 each but they gave us a deal since we bought them all and drove almost an hour to get them. That was really long ago though, about 20 years.

This is men for you love. You just need to calmly tell them your point of view and let them think about it. They will see why we say or do thinks we do.
I use stong cleaner on my bench tops and Jordans like Krystal that will make us sick but I said it recommends to use it to wipe baby toys down for gems so I think its ok for bench tops. He hasnt said one thing since that.
Lol I’m the opposite, DH is always using this bleach spray and I go off on him about how it’s hazardous and DS got a spot on his pants once. Doesn’t stop DH though lol

Okay yall.. Ima do a THROW BACK THURSDAY.. It’s about my first ever chickens.. this was back in 2011 when we lived in the suburbs.. on a tiny lot! My sister and I brought the girls to the park that was in the next town over (the town I actually grew up in) which is a big town.. well there is this nice park with a nice big lake full of ducks and geese.. the typical.. and also lots of chickens.. people started dropping chickens off there and they have thrived!
We were hanging out and we see these guys come with a five gallon bucket and start to dump out 4 tiny chicks.. just a few days old. So I go over to see and am like “you can’t leave those babies, they will not survive without a mama”... so, of course.. I take them home.. I know nothing about chickens and had not planned on chickens.. so I put them in a tub with mulch, chick feed, and water.. and that was that..(no heat lamp)! After about a week or two I put them outside in a wire dog kennel.. with a piece of ply wood on top. As they grew hubs built a three sided “dog house” type of “coop”... we placed that inside the outdoor dog run which was not covered and had 6 foot wood fencing.. they lived and thrived in there... what blows my mind is how nothing ever got them!! And we lived in an area with LOTS of critters!
We lived on the corner and the black chicken would hop up on the 6 wood fence and walk the top of the fence and the little kids getting off the school bus would run home screaming .... So we decided to return them to the park ... I now feel bad about this as I know so much now but this was not something I had ever even thought about doing.. so I just did what I always did with baby animals that I found... raise and let go :hmm
This is what I think they were..

I forgot it was Thursday! I’ll do one too. I think you’re right on the breeds except the Buff Orp is more like a production red or New Hampshire Red. Love that you named an all black bird Snow White!

So I've spent nearly the entire day watching these ducklings...they are too much :gigView attachment 1718056
Nice variety!

Throw back Thursday...I went with my mom to get these Muscovy ducklings in May 12, 2016. She got them for only $2.50 each. There were barred, chocolate, black pied. One of the barred died, leaving 14. Her friend adopted most of them, she had 6 left then rehomed those ones too. They got too messy for her suburban backyard. She will probably stick with chickens.

View attachment 1716959 Thanks :). Sorry about your dad throwing things out too.

I’m glad I still have some pics.

Here’s one I took of him in the bouncer as a newborn last year.

OMG Your boy is soooo Cute!
Im really ready to be a mum now! Since Jordan and I decided if it happens it happens. We have both starting getting more excited about the idea. Its really cute to see him want to be a dad. Makes me feel like when it happens I will have the best support from him which makes me happy.

. You will be great parents! The best part of my day is usually seeing DS run to DH when he hears DH coming home from work.
