Many breeds slow down in Autumn & may even stop laying altogether over winter. Not sure about your breeds; I've never owned them. One of my BAs is molting so not laying @ all. The other BA is still laying about once every 3 days. The BRs are coming back on the lay after a summer of broodiness. I got 2 eggs from them yesterday & 1 today. Not sure what they are going to do over winter.

Hopefully one starts back up soon. I love collecting the eggs daily.

Im struggling today. Forgetting things. I did our fortnightly bills and thought we were over budget by $250 when really we are well within our budget with extra money to play with, plus savings also. So I was having a meltdown since we are going camping aswell.
Almost locked the keys in the truck im working in at the moment.
Customers today wanted to have a disagreement while I wasn't feeling well. Felt like telling them to get out.
Im usually so patience but not today.

Just let everyone out, new hen is getting on great. She layed an egg this morning. We’ve named her Sunflower

My Rouen duck has gone broody, sitting on 23 eggs
I wonder is that too much, she can cover them all though. What do you guys think ?
The eggs are from both her and the magpie duck with the khaki x Rouen drake. Gonna have some interesting mixes.

I like the name Sunflower, she actually looks like one. How do you tell her and Luna apart?

If the duck can cover all eggs she is probably ok with them especially if it is not too cold in your area. After a week you could also candle and toss clear or bad eggs.

Im feeling ok. I was a bit sick in the stomach today from about 2ish onwards. I just laid in bed now. I told my big boss today just as a curtsey as my new role involves alot of lifting and being in locations that might be dangerous but im tuff so I told him if I cant handle it then ill tell him.

. I tried to tough it out at work by not complaining when my boss asked me to lift things but a lady told me someone got a MC that way (I don’t want to jinx anything so I’m not spelling out the word but you know what I mean), so I went to the doctor for him to write a note for my manager based on how many lbs max he believes a pregnant woman should lift. He wrote 10 lbs and after that she never asked me to lift those 20 lb milk bags that my coworkers always fussed to me that I shouldn’t lift them. She joked that I was weak so I was happy to hand her the note.

Well I’m stressed about moving. But at least before that we are taking the baby to a university where they are doing a study on 14 month olds and we will also go out for my birthday so that should be fun.

The older ones came and all sat down and listened very intently. The was no sounds in my coop but the video.

My oldest son has no fear! So he came in scooped up BBQ who had just pecked his young brother and as he held her told her she needed to be nice and calm down or BBQ would be drizzled on her Him and I then picked up several of the large ones, checked crops and feet and looked for signs of pecking or mites. We got through 6 of them when they decided they were down
Everyone looked good but Ketchup looks like she's missing some feathers on her chest. I'm going to take a another look tomorrow and see if it's a scrape. Or later tonight when hubs gets home so i can run and get some spray.

I often got impatient when pregnant too.

I believe you can have as much decaf as you want and limit your full strength coffee to a few hundred MG a day. It's the caffeine that troubles things in pregnancy, at least that's what I've seen. I've also never been pregnant so this is just general information I've read. You should ask the doctor if you can have your coffee fix, we all know how much you love your coffee!
