Flock/Life Journey's 2019

My chickens are spoilt. But then again we are all chicken people so we all spoil our babies :love I swear my chickens think they are hard done by. They act like they get nothing.
I can see myself spoiling the chickens I will get haha :love

Good morning/evening,:frow

Just want to mention, I most likely won't be online tomorrow due to another dance competition. I'm doing all open events, so it's not as serious, but still exciting (and long and very stressful) nevertheless.
Have fun! I loved my dance concert that we had at the end of dance class in high school- my teacher chose the song I suggested for it- which was the Roswell theme song, ironic because I never watched the show but I liked Dido's song for it- my sister was always watching it. Our dance was lyrical I think. There was another group that did a reenactment of the Chicago movie, I thought they were pretty good.

Random Livestock Update:
Nothing new with chickens except that my roosters seem to be doing well. Yesterday, one of my ewes gave birth to a huge ewe lamb. For some reason the sheep seem to be having them later than they should. Either way, she's a real cutie. Now I just have one more ewe to give birth.
Congratulations! :celebrate

I thought I tagged Myles...anyways I'm sure Luna will be ok! :fl

Yes! I’ve been feeding her plain yogurt using a syringe :D
Just after soaking some bread with water and yogurt and she’s eating that. :thumbsup
Go easy on the yogurt. A bit is good but not too much!

Dairy products including yogurt, milk and cheese can give chickens diarrhea since they aren't designed to digest the milk sugars, so go easy on the dairy if you notice it's having a negative effect. OR can actually be toxic in large enough amounts.

Hey everyone new to chickens this year started about a month ago with 6 chickie-dos as I call them...up to 16 now and having to build a bigger coop before the newest bunch can go outside. I have a certain girl I talk to at the local tsc (she has been very helpful and wonderful) she did her best to sex my buff orpingtons (2 of them) to get me a rooster. She did great I have a hen and a roo :) those were the second “batch we purchased” first was 4 rir and 2 Cornish cross. Well they all went outside and well what do ya know we got 4 barnevelders (didn’t know what they were for days bc hubby picked them and payed no mind to breed) and I grabbed 4 barred rocks. These were straight run so it’s a gamble and what it’s lookin like between feathers coming in 2 hen 2 roo on barnevelder and maybe 3 roo 1 hen on barred rock o my at least they are all dual purpose so with that said my flock may be down in numbers by August lol. My kiddos are joining the local 4H and are having a blast with our new additions.
