Flock/Life Journey's 2019

Its funny the difference things hey. I found so videos on YouTube called Straya that's the random things Aussies do.
Now ask about pumpkins. lol :gigThe things I've had to post pictures of to make myself understood!

I would put them in quarantine for 30 days honey. So you can monitor if they are sick before putting then straight in with your flock. You don't want your babies sick if they are sick. Then id do a see no touch for a week then put them together at night. But honey if you feel that you want to put them straight in then thats upto you noone else. You know what to look out for and monitor.

I was going to give the older ones run of the coop and have the others in their pens. I don't have a quarantine place :hmm

Put then i heard having the two males with just the one pullet would be bad? Should i look for some mor POL girls to put with them till the others are older maybe?

I'm integrating POLs with layers just now. Honestly I think a lot depends on your individual birds. My layers are 2 of the more assertive breeds: BAs & BRs. I did what I could to make it go smoothly but I have limited space so segregation wasn't a real option. The coop was new to both lots of birds & I let the newbies in first to feed & water & suss things out then put the others in just before roosting time. Not smooth, no, but not as nasty as it could have been. I just have to monitor food & water & make sure everyone has access but otherwise they are working it out. They do have plenty of room both in the coop & the run.

Brahmas and Cochins are the gentle breeds... my marans are pretty gentle too... my black sexlink is sassy though. I was hoping this would be fine since the new ones are older and everyone would adapt :th:hit

Lol what about pumpkins?
What Is called a pumpkin in America is a gourd or squash. *sigh* Squash & gourds are totally different things out here. Now all the Americans can correct me. lol It gets me into trouble every time.

1 girl to the 2 males will be too much for her if they are trying to mate with her constantly. I had 1 roo to 1 pullet but he wouldn't leave her alone. My other 2 weren't old enough so she was his favorite and I ended up rehoming him. He was too much for 1 pullet.
