Hello!
I'm...well, go ahead and call me Cara.
I have seven chickens...two Silkie bantams, a Wyandotte, a Plymouth Rock, an Easter Egger, a Sex Link, and a Production Red. And I have a ferret, two ASF rats, a gerbil, and six fish.
I hope to get more chickens in the early spring, as well as build a large new coop and run. It's also been a lifelong dream of mine to get at least one horse (that probably won't be happening anytime soon, though).
I hope to follow along with this thread somewhat, though the pages will probably build up way faster than I can read them, so I might be very slow in following.
2018 is the year I lost my first chicken, an Amberlink named Daisy. But other than that, it wasn't that bad of a year at all. You've gotta' see the good in everything...trust me, I know it's hard to, and it's easy to get blinded by all the dark in this evil world. But God has given us hope through Jesus, and a chance for a new life...for us to be redeemed.

I'm sorry 2018 wasn't your best year. But I hope this one is a lot better while it's here.
