Of course you can love. I love meeting new Aussie Members. This site has helped me so much and makes me really happy so I always tell anyone with a flock to become a member. Its worth it.

I think I’ll just do the downsize and get it over with. I’m dying to have ducks!

I’m going to make a “rough draft” of what chickens I’m keeping.
Nancy (blue orp mix)
Rose (white leghorn)
Charlotte (Bantam)
Blue (lavender OEGB)
Violet (lavender OEGB)
Hallie (Bantam EE)
Sephora (Bantam x largefowl EE)
Pandora (same as Sephora)
Big Heifer (blue orp)
And then 3 silkies (Dean, Rowena, and Ruby).

I know that’s like 12, but they’re the ones I’m mainly attached to. So maybe that’ll be enough to get me 3 or so ducklings

I have friends that live near me. They have ducks and live their lives around the ducks like cant be out past 5pm and if they go out at night they can't leave home until the ducks get put away on their own. Its really cute.

Hi All, My name is Krystal. I live in Queensland Australia with my amazing partner Jordan and our 4 Chickens. We own 10 acres and just got chickens about 6 or so months ago.

My current flock is:
Hazel - Hybrid Australorp Pullet. Shes 6 months and 25 days today.
Gin - Rhode Island Red Cockerel. He is 5 months today.
Coco and Almond - Rhode Island Red Pullets. They are 5 months old today.

I have had 56 eggs from Hazel and 1 from one of my other Pullets so far.

I will be colour coding my updates in the below colours:
Flock updates - Purple
Weather updates - Dark Blue
Plant/gardening updates - Green
Message to everyone - Red
My updates - Pink
Food Updates - Orange
Predator Update - Brown
Wildlife Update - Aqua

Aww the local ducklings are mallardxwelsh harlequin crosses. They’re about 5 or so days old. Maybe if I can downsize quick enough, I can get them before they’re too old to “tame”

Yayyy! I have an Aussie Twin! Im not married yet he hasn't put a damn ring on it lol. You have 33 Chickens! My goal is 20 in the next few years.
