Flock/Life Journey's 2019

Good morning/evening all,

I was greeted by Jasmine in the nest acting broody yesterday (after a couple days of those broody clucks). Seems that Jessie and Jazzy just switch being broody on the nest. They also still lay which baffles me. And when I take them off, they forgot that they want to be on the nest and goes off as normal for the next two hours or so. :lau Easy for me, a bit worrisome if she actually had chicks.

9 ducklings have hatched, 1 egg left.

Another hen went broody yesterday, I gave her 14 Brahma eggs. The RIR’s 12 Brahma eggs are due to hatch this Sunday.

Thanks WhoDat, saying that I made you laugh helped make my day better...

DH threw out a car seat the former owner left us. So we will have to buy DS a new one in 7 months when he turns two..whatever, I’ll just try to pretend like it never was there.

I’ll also pretend like my clothes aren’t wet because the laundromat charged a quarter for only 4 minutes of dry cleaning. Our washer and dryer hasn’t arrived and I don’t even know if it’s still legal to dry clothes outside. Our yard is only half fenced. So they’re drying in my closet for now.

Anyways hoping for a better day tomorrow..hope you all are having a good day.

I ordered a new washer and dryer in November--It took 6 weeks to be delivered!

Luckily the old ones were still working
