I like coturnix too, they're more docile than button quail. I might get a few different coloured hens.

I have a mixed flock plus bantams & standards. Get them all together & they will get along fine. I love having such a variety of shapes & colours.

Me too . I’m thinking of having the bantams raise the standards so that the bantams get one chance of raising chicks since they go broody often. Breaking them on wire will be a pain but the less broody breeds aren’t as cuddly as the broody ones

My chickens love me tight now! I made yhem a screen door! Not master craftsmen standard buuuuttt I think for my first time at this scale i did pretty good! Plus the chickies were lining up to sit in the glorious cross breeze

Not sure about this young'n , was told its a pullet but still no back feathers or tail feathers

Otherwise flock is doing really good! Specially since i rehomed the two Roos who were getting more aggressive with fighting.
