It is hard to lose them!

Do you know what attacked them?

I’m so sorry! What do you think happened!?!

I'm thinking fox at this point. Tons of feathers all over around the outside of run and leading away.
Sundae and GT came back!! They must have freaked out and hid. Don't blame them! I'm still hoping that BBQ is ok... i only fiund a few of her wing feathers on the ground. I don't have much hope for Salt or Spaghetti... their feathers made my lawn look snow covered.

They were out free ranging as the weather was beautiful! I was telling my folks how good the girls were and Bbq came and said hi so i know about noon they were good, son left at about 4 or 5 and that's when i went to do afternoon/evening check and saw them gone.

Evening / Morning folks

Just went to check on my girls... little groups of feathers are all that's left of 5 of them!

Missing are:
Sundae-Australorp
Spaghetti- Norwegian Jaerhorn
BBQ-EE
General Tao- barred rock
Salt-brahma

I'm trying not to ugly cry right now... and i think my neighbor thinks I've finally lost it... I'm so upset!!!

So sorry for your loss, hopefully some are still in hiding.

Me too! Just sad that it wasn't BBQ... she was one if a kind. Mr. Toasted is staying close to his girls this morning! Actually free ranging with them, so i think he's upset.
