Really getting the wood to fit snugly and no gaps is my biggest issue! I measure 3 times and still have gaps after cutting!! :he

The saw is loud, but if you take your time and double check your hand placement it's tons quicker and peace of mind while working.

(I hate woodwork but no one else is going to help so i gotta do it)

Give it a go! Find online pics of what you want and also plans to match that's what I did, but be willing to change directions too.. i had to :hmm

Weather and just needing a break may be causes. But watch for swelling at vent, redness, walking funny, constantly going to nests and laying down but no egg. Those are signs of egg bound. Just keep up with calcium and vitamins for them and hopefully they will be ok! :hugs

Krystal, It's late winter for you right? It very likely could be just taking a break until spring. It's fall here and my girls have stopped earlier than ever before but they are all molting now.

Well my girls are acting like it's fall. They've all started to molt and quit laying for the most part. Scares me to think of what winter will be like.
