Well I've had it with my whole button quail situation. I am giving away the broken incubator and button quail eggs to someone who would send me a picture of the chicks.

I will be getting them timothy hay and if they don't want to nest still oh well they are still cute.

Going to have my 2nd training shift tomorrow but this time it will be during the day. It'll be hectic. But then no work until the 9th.

Both my older boys had birthdays this weekend and I'm feeling pretty wrung out... but!!! I went to the closer shelter everyone hates and we found what looks like an Anatolian Sheperd! He's only 3 months andwe have started introducing him to the chickens! He's doing great! The kids named him Snoopy.

Day 13 of the hatching eggs! All still have movement and seem to be progressing nicely!

Learning quickly that my rooster doesn't like Snoopy at all. Snoopy is still a bit jumpy when we go to let out chickens in morning and Toasted gets everyone all freaked out then comes struttin up to "finish him".

They're going to have to work it out!
Also found out my dingy chooks went and ate a ton of scratch that may have been covered in mold I put pro biotics in their waterer in coop and will put some electrolytes and vitamins in large waterer on the driveway for them.

I was having a good day until DH invited the neighbor over without telling me. I was too hungry so hadn't gotten out of my scrubs yet...that was embarrassing. Now he's pretty much giving him a tour of the house when I didn't really get a chance to tidy up. At least the day is half over.

Luna looks to be getting worse
Her toes are starting to go black from the bumble foot and she has an impacted crop again, I think it might be best to put her down.
