I have 75 birds right now, still down from 85 just yest AM thoughwhittling down but ill still be working on quail all winter.
ETA this includes the 12 new hatchlings

So far 2 white, one off white, and one brown layer! Hoping for more brown layers and Eagle is called a Lakeshore Egger do she might lay blue or green or similar... that'd be fun too!

My slacker ducks are finally laying! Got some pics of the eggs...i would have had 4 but i didn't see the 4th one and stepped on it
now we have to convince them to lay in their boxes
as currently they are just dropping them in the run where they hang out in the morning this makes for dirty eggs i don't know who started what but they are chasing him all over the yard! Poor guy.
