Question?
I read something earlier this week about Ducks interbreeding with Chickens? Is this really true? Can that happen?
Umm well, it’s HIGHLY likely to harm/kill the chicken hen if a drake (male duck) mates with her. Ducks have totally different anatomy than chickens. This is by no means recommend. Ever.

Weather Update:
Almost 35 degrees today!
Its making me feel sicker. I went to take the rubbish to the bin and almost died.

Gardening/planting Update:
I went to water the Pumpkins and Watermelons. They look abit sad from the heat but the Pumpkins and Melons on them are looking good.
I did battle with the ants again. I threaten to kill them but they still continued to bite me. I don't think they are convinced I will do it.

if ducks and chickens are raised together (hatched & brooded together), then it's a real possibility and fatal for the hen. My ducks are hatched and brooded separate from the chickens and I've never had an issue.
