So do you have recourse for the loss of your dog. I would be furious as well as upset. Animals like that just shouldn't ever be loose.

Omg guys i think i give up! I just...GIVE UP. Babies apparently died last night when someone got off the nest but no one got on IN FREEEZING TEMPS. My other clutch has revealed itself infertile, and my other 4 pairs arent even mating right now much less laying AND I JUST CANT. I cant live in accipitor central and not have breeding birds! My niebohr hase a flock of anywhere from 100 to 300 Swift's at a time and he can barely keep up whith the hawk attacks, compared to me whith like 5-6 breeding pairs that aren't breeding! I think I may just fly them come spring and lose who I lose in order to find a better producing/parenting flock. Because so far I had a clutch whith defects dying at hatch, this pair was healthy but parents weren't up to par apparently and a 3rd clutch I found to be infertile after checking this morning. So thinking I may just let the hawk weed them out and find some new blood or simply use their loft for some other fowl and just keep a pair or 2 for fun.but at this point the pigeons aren't benifiting me or the property by just staying locked up hoping they'll breed and then proving incapable of raising anything to feathering age -_-

Ohhh no this is sad but I like the approach you have about it. You see the value and invalue of things and I really like that.
If they arent contributing to the flock/home then it might be time they move on.

Well DS finally got his shots, 3 needles, the nurse said he would cry and he didn't for the first 2 but the 3rd one he let out a little cry, the nurse hadn't seen a baby not cry that much. I then put him in his carseat and he cried like he always does when I put him in there. When he was newborn the nurse had to prick his foot for some blood, he didn't cry but sure did when we had to remove his clothes. I have an oddball baby.

I forgot to put the cat dish away so DS dumped all his cat food on the floor.

On the way back I stopped by the front office of the apartment building and the lady signaled for me to wait outside. I waited forever, well it was like 15 min but seemed like forever cus DS was getting agitated. He was about to cry when I went to ask her something and she was like I'm talking to someone so I said I have a quick question anyways long story short (somewhat) the building wants everyone to move their cars tomorrow for snow removal but doesn't say what time. So I guess they expect everyone to wait til midnight when tomorrow hits and then park our cars who knows where. UGH!

Hope someone at least had a good day so far.

Ohhh his a good boy. Being so brave getting his needles. I was scared of needles right up until I got my first tattoo and was still scared afterwards lol.

I took my bestfriends son for his needles it was like someone was killing him so anyways I was crying.

What silly people. Im so glad I live on acreage not dealing with dumb people lol.

That is what play pens are for! However don't have twins. Mine used to take it in turns to lift the corner for the other to escape.

I dono if we would have twins. But anything is possible. Im sure my kids are going to be smart like Jordan and I so anything could happen.

My neighbors dog just killed Jake. Jake was one of our family dogs. I feel bad I haven’t posted much about him. I can’t believe he’s gone. Here he was:

I’m okay. I was very livid and angry at first but I’m a bit better now. Still upset. He just said how sorry he was about it. But I’m still mad over it. I wish it wouldn’t have happened Thank you Krystal

Flock Update:
My ladies are doing great. Coco had already laid this morning before I left so if we have 2 more eggs today then they are all laying so we will wait and see.

Also, I thought the girls havent been using the Cup Water Feeders. I showed them again and Jordan checked and they were full so they are using it. I have been checking that they arnt panting which they havent been and its been about 2 to 3 weeks.

I might let my ladies free range today when I get home.

You should call Animal Control to get it on record. At the very least, the neighbor owes you for your loss. He might get a citation for not controlling his Dog too. You can't let them do stuff like that in most places
