I'm sorry you lost a beloved pet. I hate when people don't care enough to control their dogs. That's why pit bulls have such a bad reputation, bad owners!

This loss has remained me of something you can do to remember your pets.

A few years ago we had to put down angel, a German Shepherd with horrible hip problems that led to having to put her down. Our vet has the option of getting a ornament with your dogs paw on it.

This is what we got.

Months later I found an article on how to do something similar at home. Every pet has a print up on the wall. I need to make a batch and do my flock!

The white and blue one is Hemi's paw, he's a Polydactyl cat, so he has a few extra toes.

I've had 3 so far today ~ which means nearly everyone is back laying ~ & about time too!!

I had 2 eggs this morning.
Almond was coming out of the nesting area when I went upto the coop. But shes not squatting yet?
Do all pullets squat before laying?

No. None of mine squatted before they started laying. Now they all squat for me but it seems to be a subjection thing round here. Me big boss, you little chookie.

I got 2 eggs today!
How many eggs did you all get?

I have been getting 7 eggs a day... but I have 8 gals! I’m waiting for the day when I get ALL 8 in one day

She could be laying then. The egg I got this morning looks nothing like Hazel or Cocos egg. But ill only know for sure when I get 3 eggs in one day.
