Chicks were 50 cents each at TSC so I ended up purchasing 6 white leghorn pullets because apparently I can't wait for my chicks to hatch next week. That being said, I haven't had leghorns in a while, so I might as well have taken the opportunity.

.. thank you! If I take ANY picture ANY where in my kitchen.. there WILL be some sort of chicken in the background.. once we counted them and it was an obscene amount! I tend to go overboard when it comes to something I REALLY love!! You should have seen my girls room before we re-decorated it... oh SO many horses.. it was ridiculous!!! I was living vicariously

my adult niece(in her 50's) has a room filled with horse models, stuffed horses, and every kind you can imagine.

When I was a kid my father forbid me from getting any more stuffed dogs. Weird. Maybe he thought it would lead to other addictions. Anyway my older sister, mother, aunt would ask what I wanted next and go stealth shopping for them and deliver them to me.

You might say he was somewhat controlling.

Today was my Granddaughter's 3rd birthday. She actually started blushing when we sang her happy birthday.
