I gently cleaned and then steamed the veggies until they still had a bit of crunch but were also tender. We've started a planter box garden for the chickens so i know they are fresh and clean! 
Aren't they cute? Not sure if her and her sisters are barred rocks or marans... their white markings are pretty though and all the chicks are starting to get tiny tail feathers in it's adorable!
If I lived closer I'd be on your doorstep in a flash to beg, borrow or buy some babies.Starting to collect some Brahma eggs for hatching, we have a broody!!!
