She did say something about not wanting guineas and now she has some and admits to liking them!
Could be a repeat with turkeys...

Not sneezing as much today, yesterday that one hen could hardly eat cause she kept sneezing so much. Ive put the powder in everyones water.
Good morning/evening
Everyone here seems to have ducks and they are all so cute. Those guys make me so happy inside and now I want ducklings/ducks. Sigh.
For little flock update, two red-tailed hawks decided to nest in our back woods. Fairly sure the sharp-shinned hawks decided to reside nearby as well. They are too small to pick any of them up, but if they try, those talons could kill them or they could drop them. *shiver*. No deaths in the flock in the past two or three years and I'd like to keep it that way.
The hen that is sneezing the most was going in and out of the nest box all day trying to lay an egg. They’re closed in for the night and all are sleeping on the roost, still no egg.How are they going now?

Flock Update:
I have warned Ketchup that if she keeps pounces on the other chicks she's going to a deep fryer! Seriously... She jumps up onto the roost bar and waits till one of the others walks under her and then jumps on top of them!I gave her a stern talking to last night and she just looked at me and then scratched in my direction. I think that was chick equivalent of bad words.
All our little babies are getting in the feathering on their chests now! and they are also all going bald....the fuzzies are leaving faster than the feathers are coming in. I'm going to try and get some self portraits done of each chick...
My kids are also doing a bake sale this weekend to help raise money for finishing off the coop/shed conversion. well i should say, I'M doing a bake sale....

thank you!! how are your chooks?
