Flock/Life Journey's 2019

Taking Luna to another vet today, it’s looking like she has an impacted crop, she’s still acting a bit off not eating or drinking much.
She’ll probably need surgery to get whatever’s in there out. :D

Awww poor Luna!! :( Hopefully she'll recover nicely! :fl

Flock Update:

Went out to feed the chickies this morning... and as I'm coming inside a strangled hoarse crow is sounded. It scared everyone! the babies and the other big ones. I thought the neighbors rooster got in last night. NOPE! Can you guess who it was?

Kethcup! :barnie I had a feeling about that one anyways...but now have comformation. So had to message the lady coming this weekend to let her know. Once I hear back I'll see if i need to Post "him" again. :hit

Flock Update:
No eggs again today :idunno
Today was 11hours and 32mins long. Getting shorter and shorter.
Do you see any extra feathers in the yard?

Haha yes! it sounded so weird and funny! :lau I'm thinking Sour might be a rooster too. Ketchup and Sour's combs look a lot a like and kinda dark pink compared to everyone elses'. but waiting on that crow to comfirm. :D :pop

Back from vets!
Vet got her to vomit everything up. Vet said it was rancid and full of bacteria, stones and straw.
They gave us baytril to give to her for a week.
The vet said that we had already cleared a good bit of it by giving her coconut oil and massaging it.
Happy that she didn’t need surgery.

We brought her to a different vet this time. Last one didn’t know what was wrong with her.
