Flock/Life Journey's 2019

I was thinking the same or Pomegranates
Pomegranate grows into a pretty big tree [2.5m]. I have one still in it's pot because I can't find a spot to take it. Nana [the dwarf variety] only grows to about 1m. Love pomegranate!

Wasn’t me... I don’t have anything planted around the coop... you know me and gardening ... I’ve given them grapes... they love em! The only planting I’ll do is.. I plan to put some large bushes on one side for shade..
Oh glory. I know I read it recently! 'Cause I was sorta sorry I'd already put the passionfruit in ~ which is why I remember. Maybe it was someone here & they'll say. :)

Wonderful coop plans and ideas! I think I'll go with the plant around the coop thing when I get a coop in who knows how many years. And a covered run as well especially when a lot of breeds I want aren't exactly cold hardy with some having feathered feet, single combs, and some with both.

I remember who I forgot to tag now, Kayla. Her poor lil WhoDat silkie, hope the lil thing is ok.

Well I took @KLIL s idea and have been giving small amount if treats in the morning food bin. If the big ones peck at me, i peck back on their rump and they get the picture. Today the got a handful of slivered carrots on their food and while they enjoyed i could clean out brooder. I also did the same for babies and they were over the moon excited not only for the carrots but for the grit too.

Had a rough night myself... either a really bad anxiety attack or something healthwise.... just feeling very slow today. Hubs took off work to watch both me and the 5 yo.

Evening Krystal and Jeannie, how are you feeling today? :hugs
Doing good here. Little bit of rain & wind overnight but the new coop is holding up well even without doors. Looking @ putting in some star pickets & temporary fencing to separate my big girls from my newbies so everyone gets some outside time. At present the oldies have the newbies bailed up in the coop away from the main food & water station. *sigh* mean girls. How are you?
