Flock update.
Very windy out today, everyone’s huddled under the bushes.
Luna’s crop was practically empty this morning :fl
She’s finally eating on her own now.

Aww!! yay!!! :clap:celebrate:bun Luna is always gonna be my fav of your flock... I'm so glad she's doing better!!!

(i wish i could find some brahmas around here)

Well... Woke to thunder, lightning, hail, and pouring rain. Waited for it to calm down a bit and ran to make sure the chicks had enough food and water for the day since it's not going to let up any time soon. Sesame took the opportunity to try to escape and almost got a wet pullet... :barnie:th But she saw the error of her ways and let me pick her up and put her back. I have an old lid that is deep enough for me to put some grit and mealworms in and so I gave them that for the morning fun.

Coop stuff is once again on hold today :he

Flock Update:

I'm super excited! As soon as I posted about wishing I could find brahmas, a lady in a local Chicken group messaged that she needs to find homes for her Light Brahma Roo and pullet as they are being picked on by her others. :eek:On top of that she has a Splash Cochin that is young and needs a flock. :celebrate After talking with her and seeing pictures, I'm going to pick them up on Monday!! :wee:love:ya My boys are excited! That will mean our Flock will be complete, after that we'll see how we'll breed and of course collect eggs :drool :D The kids already named them, Brahmas will be Salt and Pepper, and the Cochin will be Cajun. I'm hoping it all goes smoothly as I haven't gotten chickens from groups yet. :fl So hoping it goes well!
