@MysticUniKitty no the nearest center is 3 hrs away plus its a European house sparrow which means they'd probably just euthanize it (they're invasive to WA and kill native birds, its technically illegal to release them, at least thats the law in WA for them, starlings, and pigeons. if one is caught, your legally responsible to not release them in order to prevent future harm to native wildlife and ecosystem :/) either way I slipped the baby into a niebor sparrow nest this morning and they all seem to be fine so far, deciding if I want to take the majority of the babies at fledging and set up an aviary so they don't cause anymore harm :/(our house sparrows favorite activity is killing chickadees and swallow chicks and nests) so id rather remove them given the chance but they got here waaay an early this year and took to 4 nest boxes on the property before I had realized it.
