They told me 84 for over 5 days. Its been in the 90s for three wks now

I will likely take longer at a bit higher temperature...but I suspect it actually has more to do with their life cycle. They will be gone when they are through reproducing for the year.

See they had told me that but also last year a few of em stuck around and were a problem through Fall. Just not in the heat of the day like the mosquitos they were out in the morning and evening. Last yr i didnt have poultry so i didnt Need to spray but i couldnt have the kids outside much. Wanted to let them play in their kiddie pools more.

My lizards def feast on them, there are anoles Everywhere, and geckos at night too. The spiders too. Ive been seeing abuncha dragonflys i wonder about them?

A BYCer told me to get ducks but DH tells me No

Great! I sprayed for the 9th time today. They were eating me alive before i did for you!

9th time?! Wow..i noticed at dusk last night that they were getting me but it was too breezy to spray right then so I'll have to do it in the morning

Good morning/evening
Chickens are all doing very well here. Loving the high 50*F- low 60*F weather. New England likes to be cold until mid June and then suddenly it's 80*F.

In my experience ducks can only do so much for different bugs. They can control water breeding bugs in their pools and love foraging for bugs too. That being said..... I think everyone should jump on the duck train!
