Flock/Life Journey's 2019

I was reading up on it more and i knew i might loose her but i was really hoping...
thank you for your help!! I'm hoping the other one pulls through! Everyone else is starting to act normal again so I'm feeling good about those!
You are doing a good job!

It gets easier to spot the symptoms with experience. If I see symptoms, I treat immediately

That huddling symptom, if i had known i think I could've gotten it a bit sooner... but now i know! And I'm going to be more careful of which waterer goes where or needs cleaning! :caf

I woke up and found smokey passed away surrounded by her mates... that made me feel a bit better. I'm sad.:( But I'm going to freshen there corid water and I'm going to get these ones hopefully healthy!:yesss::hugs

Well today i woke to two dead chicks...:hit
quickly learned that the babies are pooping blood. I've changed out the sand completely with new, washed feeder and waterer, did s funeralish thing for the two, drove all over the place for my son's vaccinations for school and trying to find corid. :he Just finally got home and Sushi and Smokey are not doing good! :hit I mixed corid with gallon of water, filled waterer and then sat down with the lethargic ones and took blunt syringe to get water mix down them. Couple drops at a time. Should I separate the really lethargic ones or just let them be? I think one of the marans might be pooping blood too. I'm just really sad :( i think it's my fault as i may have accidentally brought it in with me. :barnie

Stormy is by waterer, Sushi is under pile under light. I think the maran (second from feeder) might be the one.
Oh no! How terrible! :barniei hope the corid helps! :fl I'm so sorry for your loss:hugs

Planning on hatching a few guinea eggs with Golden partridge Brahma eggs For a start

I'm looking into doing the pvc pipes along one wall for water with those, other for food access caps for draining old and putting new in. I'm learning so much! Since we have tons of room acreage wise, I'm thinking multiple smaller coops so cleaning and heat issues are better and multiple permanent runs or one big community one with close off doors!
